Munther Massarweh, owner of The Board room and Speakeasy Novato, is a veteran restaurateur and chef with deep roots in the Bay Area dining scene. Over the course of his career, he has owned and operated some of Marin most iconic restaurants — including Wildfox and Rickey’s — as well as several celebrated establishments in Wine Country and San Francisco.

Before bringing his signature Chicago-style steakhouse concept to Novato, Munther honed his craft with the renowned Lettuce Entertain You Corporation in Chicago. Today, he also leads Scrumptious Occasions, a premier Bay Area catering company known for its elevated cuisine and impeccable service.

Munther’s passion for hospitality, culinary excellence, and community makes The Board room one of Marin County’s most distinctive dining destinations — where old-school charm meets modern sophistication.
